A CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL DELIGHT
On Saturday 29th April, for 2 shows only, Top Dog Theatre presents an
interactive all singing and all dancing show for children of all ages.
Based loosely on the story of a little girl meeting many friendly and
intriguing animals, Alice in “Easter” Wonderland turns everyone and
everything into a child’s delight.
The Aurora Centre will be packed full of special effects to thrill the
children, as a cast of top performers sing and dance their way through this
enthralling and timeless tale.
Jay Versteeg, voted best actress at the NZ Federation Festival plays Alice.
Aaron Boyce, soloist for Starry Nights, plays Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Ian
Lester, from Bouncers brings the loveable White Rabbit to life. Rebecca
Boyce, from playing Sandy, the star of Greece at the Theatre Royal, is the
timid Dormouse. Paul MacDiarmid cycles his way around stage as The Mad
Hatter and Rob Tilby, voted best actor at the NZ Federation Festival, plays
Cheshire Cat
Alice in “Easter” Wonderland is an invitation for children to spread their
imagination, to sing along to their favourite songs, to dance and join in
the fun as the magical world of Wonderland comes to life.
Come and meet Alice, The Mad Hatter, Dormouse, Tweedledee and Tweedledum and
many more of their favourite and friendly characters.
